Rational Assessment

Any building that has more than 15% Glass to floor ratio requires calculations in order for the glazing to comply with SANS10400.

Once this area exceeds 22% the cost of the glass can be expensive using the SANS 204 tables. 

By performing a rational assessment through energy modeling, the glazing cost can be significantly decreases.
